These days, many of the same styles from the past are still popular but with a slightly different interpretation or style.

If you’re in the market for a new car, watching for the monthly car sale numbers announced by the major automakers can often help you determine if it would be best to buy now, or to wait a bit more for better prices. When there’s solid consumer demand and car sales are brisk, prices remain strong. Without any existing hints of weakness, it’s unlikely we would see better deals due to increased manufacturer incentives and/or Dealer discounts (although we can see this at times on particularly slow-selling models).

The case mod above was preformed on a 1U rack chassis, that would later become a carputer. Rackmount chassis architecture works well for car computers despite their large size. They are built with cooling, reliability, and performance in mind. With a few modifications they can also be very robust ruggedized servers, perfect for music, GPS, DVDs, or mobile file sharing.

The problems with asking for the old parts back from your auto repair are many. Number one what you are really saying is I don’t trust you, right to your shops face. Another problem is if you ask for the old parts back from lets say a tune up you may get six old spark plugs and a smelly fuel soaked fuel filter. You do not want to carry around a wet fuel filter, and when it comes to the old spark plugs they could be out of anybody’s vehicle. Some times the part numbers on the old spark plugs is hard to read on very old plugs. If you can read the part number you can call a parts store to verify the spark plug part number belongs in your vehicle. When you are talking about getting the old parts back when the auto repair is brake job, trust me you do not want the old brake pads back. They are in most cases unidentifiable and very dirty and dusty. Plus there is no readable part Number to verify if they are off of your vehicle. So again they could be from someone else’s car repair.

A great alternative to “roughing it” while camping is to rent or purchase one of the many models of camping trailers available on the market. Camping trailers can range from a hard-top tent trailer that requires some set-up and will easily pull behind even a small sized car through to a larger, all-in-one unit that is literally a home away from home on wheels. Each type of camping trailer has pros and cons to ownership, but one of the largest factors with any type of trailer is the cost.

It seems that no one has enough time these days, but deciding to buy auto parts online can make your life a little easier, and in some cases save you big bucks! There was a time when you needed to jump in your car or truck, and drive down to the auto-parts warehouse in search of the exact part you needed. Once you arrived there, you likely had to wait in line for a while, and when someone was finally available to help you, more often than not, it was an 18 year old who needed to go, “look in the back,” to determine if they had the part you needed.

They all say the same thing when you ask them about buying an ATV, ATV riding can be an expensive sport to pursue. The cost of a good ATV will cause a dent in your accounts and that you’ll have to have some cash stashed up for emergencies and repairs. And that if you’re into modifications and such, things can get a little strained in your bank account. Well, while we agree with most parts that ATVing CAN get a little expensive and when the ATV need repair, you’ll need spare cash for the parts and the cost of repairing the ATV but we don’t agree that it is ALWAYS expensive. |
